So, should I just let 1/4 inch of my template overhang on both the top and bottom of the 13” fabric strip to “split the difference”?

Help. My taped XXL template measures 13.5 x13.5. I printed at 100% and my control block measures exactly one inch. What am I doing wrong?

In cutting the standard drunkard path pieces, do you use one single paper template to make all the fabric cuts, or you print and prepare a paper template for each fabric cut? As hard as I try to be exact in cutting the curved area with my rotary cutter, I occasionally nick the paper. I’m worried my last fabric cuts won’t be as exact. Thoughts?
